Since realFIT Data provides API access to the entire realFIT platform, it is helpful to understand the underlying terminology.
An individual measure of fitness within the realFIT test TEST LIBRARY. Each test may have multiple performance Standards Tables, but the procedures and measurement are the same. Each test has its own unique numeric TEST ID.
Each individual test measures at least one standard realFIT fitness measurement category. Currently there are six categories. The total CATEGORY SCORE is the aggregate score across all the TESTS assigned to that category. The TEST WEIGHT may vary by each TEST SET.
The percentage weighting assigned to a particular TEST for a specific CATEGORY. The total weightings across all CATEGORIES for a specific TEST should always add to 100%.
The performance standards basis for a specific TEST. Every TEST will have at least one associated standards table. Each table will contain the performance RANGES so that a specific test result will be mapped to a RAW TEST SCORE.
Raw Test Score
The numeric performance rating for a particular test according to the associated STANDARDS TABLE. The actual raw score might not be provided to members, only the associated FEEDBACK for that score.
The numeric performance rating (on a scale from 0-100) for a specific category. The category score is determined by the sum total of all the individual TESTS with CATEGORY WEIGHTS assigned to that category.
The numeric performance result of the overall score calculation.
The complete set of TESTS chosen for the custom score calculation.
The percentage weighting assigned to a particular CATEGORY for a specific SCORE SET. The total weightings across all CATEGORIES for a specific SCORE SET should always add to 100%.
The entire collection of realFIT TESTS available, including associated standards and score sets.
The descriptive text associated with a particular RAW TEST SCORE, CATEGORY RATING or OVERALL SCORE.
